The Leveling Update (v1.2)

Hey everyone!

It's been nearly a year since our last major update and after some time off to work on other projects, we're back with another major update!

The big focus on this one is some more long-term goals to work towards, as well as improvements towards SpaceTime Hairball earnings.  Additionally, we've added tutorials to better explain the specifics of what's going on, more leaves (of course), new rare "leaves" as capstones to each season that give BIG rewards, BGM/SFX for most of the game (the intro video is notably lacking audio), oh yeah an intro video! Oh and there's hats and titles now, in addition to a few more secrets! (yeah there were secrets before too ;) I'm definitely missing some things in these notes; this was a labor of love over the course of the past 6 months and so many things have changed - lemme know what you think! Features

Leveling

• Now you can level up! Every leaf you pick up is worth 1 XP with special leaves being worth 5 XP!
• Your Leaf Eater Level will directly contribute to your ratio of SpaceTime Hairballs - More Levels, More STHBs!
• Levels will also occasionally grant you new cosmetic rewards - sometimes a title, sometimes something new you can throw on Milkshake's head ;)
  • As of now there are 81 titles and 10 "hats" to unlock
  • A few of these are tied to special actions and not just leveling up, take a look at the list in game to get a better idea of how to unlock

Upgrades

• Upgrades will prerequisites will now show those unlock requirements when hovering over them
  • 'Nip Accomplice requires Accomplice
  • Tummy Size requires Zoomies
  • Maneki Neko requires either a rare leaf or a special leaf to be unlocked

Hairball Time 

• Hairball Time now always lasts 2.9 seconds and the associated upgrade has been removed
• Hairball Time will gradually slow you down as Milkshake winds down to process his feast, giving you time to grab what you can before he pops!

Zoomies

• A new upgrade! Zoomies will allow you to get a boost after you finish Hairball Time!
• Upgrading your Zoomies will give you a bigger burst of speed!
• Tummy Size will now also increase your Zoomies duration! (this applies to the Rainbow Leaf Tummy Size temporary increase too!)

Leaves/"Leaves"

• There are a 23 standard leaves and "leaves" for you to discover now!
• 4 of these are "Rarer" than others (the last of each season), with HUGE relative rewards compared to other leaves in the season
  • These, as well as special leaves in general, now utilize a pity system so you should be less likely to go huge stretches of time without seeing anything.
  • The base rates are lowered to compensate
• Leaf spawns in the current season are now more likely than other seasons
• Yellow (Sandstorm) leaf will now summon one beeg sandstorm to pull leaves into the center

Tutorials

• There are tutorials now, so hopefully you can have a better idea of what's going on! 
• Let us know if there are any you think might be missing!

Audio

• BGM has been added to each season
• UI elements have SFX added to them
• Milestone Completion has an SFX
• Prestige Milestone Completion has an SFX
• Leveling has an SFX
• Shroomies have an SFX
• Eating leaves sometimes has an SFX (there are a lot of leaves, after all)

Tooltips

• Dang-near everything has tooltips now (Shroomy upgrades, normal upgrades, special leaves)

Reality Reset

• For those of you who have embraced the Elder Leaf, there's a new button to try out after you grab the leaf!
• Reality Resetting will put you in a new "Reality", removing nearly everything except your Levels and your Shroomies/Shroomie Upgrades
• Of course, this isn't without benefit - Each Elder Leaf will increment a multiplier on your XP gains! Chase those cosmetics!

Portal (s)

• These are now actual portals (you still click them like buttons)

Balance

• Frankly, too many things have changed to list them all here
• More milestones, more upgrades, upgrade costs/milestone/prestige milestone values changed pretty much universally
