Fun! Initially a bit rough due to the slow buildup of power, but quickly gets into a groove before unfortunately hitting the berrystone(bluestone? inconsistent naming) grind. Got the rainbubble ending! Also, the rainbow badge's description is outdated.
thanks for the playthrough and the bug report; seems I have another patch I'll be working on after all! I've tapped down berrystone and mushroaams so much but it seems they need more tapping...balancing a game like this is really hard for me ><
Great game, but I assume that there's some kind of hidden or bonus ending with the extra items? I wanted to get it but the grind is just too much...
You can get like 25-ish sticks from a run, but you need like a thousand to get all the end-game items, not to mention all the mushrooms, berrystone, and stone etc.
I might have missed something, but otherwise, maybe consider adding a way to get more stuff, like an upgrade that multiplies your gain from certain items. This would be a good way to allow the player to use resources that otherwise become useless after a point.
Thanks for giving it a go! I absolutely agree with you that the numbers needhelp - I really love your idea of taking some of those unused items and turning them into something useful!! I'm taking a bit of a break to work on another game but I'll get a patch out in the next few days to town down some of those numbers in the meantime. (I nerfed Berrystone and Stone earlier, and added an extra mushroaam for the early game but yeahh BASICALLY I HEAR YOU LOL)
Thanks so much again for playing and leaving a comment!!
What a cute and fun game! I thought the progression system was great (but it may have been nice to have a multiplier for some of the late game items ie. the berrystones at 300 as the end game was a little grindish). There was so much content in this for a jam game! And I didn’t encounter any bugs. Wonderful work!!
The art was awesome! The song was cute! And I enjoyed my time with the game!! Great work and I’m looking forward to seeing what y’all do next :D
Wow there's a lot to do in this game! I just got the Cliffgrippers and found the Sound of Cat's Feet that I'd been curious about! I was actually clicking a lot at first and then realized I could hold the button down, which ended up being important, haha.
The feeling of progression is really really good. Upgrades definitely make a huge difference! I'll definitely be back to pack up and head out into the strange cave. :)
thank you so much for giving it a try! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your time so far and I'm gonna change the wording on the UI to let everyone know you can hold-click! thanks again and look forward to a few new things coming over the weekend :)

i knew I recognized your name! I love your games <3
I see a pattern between some of them. Very cute descriptions and dark undertones, corruption of power and lovely art!
I rate this game VERY INTERESTING STICK out of 10!
Wow! I've never been recognized before, thank you so much for playing and seeing the connection!!
Cute/dark is the name of the game for us and I hope to see ya for the next one!!

Is it normal to finish without the rainbubble?
yes! there are two endings!

What is that sound when you get a rainbow glow?
it's the sound of a crow! they love collecting shiny things xD
Do they maybe steal?
Hmm maybe sometimes! Another sound effect would probably fit better 🤔
